As the Foundation's chief financial and administrative officer, Kristen Conte is responsible for the financial position of the organization, is staff liaison to the foundation's investment managers and advisors, oversees its human resource functions, and manages its technology and communication systems. Kristen also serves as the financial advisor to the foundation's Cash Flow Loan Program.
Kristen has worked in the nonprofit sector for many years, including heading the finance and administration offices at the National Environmental Education and Training Foundation and the National Conference of State Legislatures. Kristen volunteers extensively in her community and has held volunteer leadership positions in her local PTA and civic association. She has a bachelor's degree from George Washington University and is on the board of Trinity (Washington) University. Kristen is a long-standing member of the American Society of Association Executives, the Foundation Financial Officers Group, the Finance and Administration Roundtable, and the Society for Human Resource Management. Past board memberships include the Foundation Financial Officers Group and the Finance and Administration Roundtable.
