2006 Exponent Award Recipients by Carol Guzy

The Meyer Foundation gallery is currently presenting photographs of its 2006 Exponent Award recipients by Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post photographer Carol Guzy. Guzy captured the images over several days for the 2006 annual report, Lifelines. The images represent a day in the life of five Meyer Foundation grantees and their visionary leaders, who serve hundreds of people in need each day.

The photographs of Jim Knight, executive director of Jubilee Housing; Rhonda Buckley founder and former executive director of the Sitar Arts Center; Betty Jo Gaines, executive director of Bright Beginnings; Jayne Park, executive director of the Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center; and Kerrie Wilson, chief executive officer of Reston Interfaith are a testament to their unwavering commitment to the community, and their passion and vision as nonprofit leaders.
