Founded in 1990, Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP), an affinity group of the Council on Foundations, is a 500-member national organization representing nearly 250 grantmakers and other nonprofit organizations. It seeks to advance organized philanthropy's understanding of Asian Pacific American immigrant and refugee communities and increase resources for these underserved populations.
