Manual and Sourcebook (Grants Manual), which establishes grantmaking
policies and procedures for all agencies, boards and commissions,
government offices and departments subject to the Mayor’s authority.

Last year, the Foundation gave more than $9.5 million in grants to 262 groups in the DC metro area. Grantmaking is primarily concentrated on 11 priorities including children, homelessness, housing, immigrants, arts, education, and employment.
