Julie Rogers Named Among Washingtonian's 100 Powerful Women

Meyer Foundation President Julie Rogers was named among Washingtonian magazine's 100 most powerful women, in the area of advocacy and nonprofits.

Other regional funders named in the category include: Rose Ann Cleveland, executive director of the Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation; Carol Thompson Cole, president and CEO of Venture Philanthropy Partners; Catherine Reynolds, president of the Catherine B. Reynolds Foundation; and Terri Lee Freeman, president of the Community Foundation for the National Capital Region, a Meyer grantee.

Meyer Board Vice Chair Barbara Krumsiek, president and CEO of the Calvert Group Ltd., and Board Member Barbara Lang, president and CEO of the D.C. Chamber of Commerce, were named among the most powerful women in business, labor, and lobbying.

Meyer grantees Molly Smith, artistic director of Arena Stage, and Joy Zinoman, founding artistic director of the Studio Theatre, were named in the arts and letters category.
