The DC Department of Human Services announces funds for nonprofits for the development and implementation of science-based projects that assist male and female youth and adolescents (grades 5-9) in avoiding pregnancy. The projects should provide social, recreational, and educational services. Applicants should provide services in a neighborhood-based facility located in DC, especially Wards 7 and 8 or communities with large population of limited English proficient at-risk youth. The project location must be easily accessible to the targeted youth and operate during the academic school year and summer.
