As the Foundation’s vice president for finance and operations, Janice is responsible for the financial position of the organization, is staff liaison to the foundation’s investment managers and advisors, oversees its human resource functions, and manages its technology and operations systems.
Janice has over 25 years of experience in philanthropy and the private sector, including heading the finance and administration offices at the National Housing Conference and Freddie Mac Foundation. Before joining the Meyer Foundation, Janice served as director of finance and operations at the Consumer Health Foundation.
A certified public accountant, Janice has internal and external audit experience, as well as experience managing technology and human resources in a variety of nonprofit settings. She has held membership with the Society for Human Resource Management and is currently a member of the Finance and Administration Roundtable and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs. In addition to an undergraduate degree in accounting, she holds a master’s degree in social work from Smith College.
