As a program assistant, Sparkle Lonesome provides support to Terri Wright, our vice president for program and community, and Karen FitzGerald, our senior director for program and community. She is also at the helm of the planning and execution behind the Foundation's efforts to convene partners around issues affecting the Greater Washington region.
Sparkle has a passion for community development, social justice, and education. Prior to joining the Meyer Foundation in 2016, she worked for 12 years as a donor resources specialist at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Blood Bank. She is a native Washingtonian and enjoys spending quality time with her family.
Sparkle holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Strayer University.
