As program and community associate, Kari Den Otter provides project support to Meyer's general grantmaking and supports the grant rounds. Additionally, Kari works with the program directors on special grantmaking initiatives and research projects to expand and deepen Meyer’s grantmaking work.
Kari is a current member of the Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy DC Chapter Steering Committee and a 2019 Exponent Philanthropy NextGen Fellow. Prior to joining the Meyer Foundation in 2014, she spent seven years in the association sector as a recruitment and retention professional. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and a master’s degree in political management from the George Washington University.
