Maureen E. Dwyer
Maureen Dwyer is a director at Goulston & Storrs PC real estate group, with a core focus on zoning and municipal law matters. She counsels clients through the development of new corporate, retail, institutional and office facilities, as well as residential properties.
Ms. Dwyer has a proven reputation and long-standing history in the growth and development of the Greater Washington community. She has represented several private colleges and universities in the region, in addition to developers and investors, corporate owners, institutions, foundations, and individuals. Her expertise includes site selection and initial acquisition through the land use, historic preservation, environmental, and building code approval process, including litigation and appellate work.
Her further professional and community involvement includes serving as member and former president of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW); member of the advisory council of the Girl Scout Council of DC; and as member and former chair of the advisory board of the Salvation Army. She also has associations with the Federal City Council, the Greater Washington Board of Trade, the Urban Land Institute, the DC Chamber of Commerce, the DC Building Industry Association (DCBIA), and the Economic Club.
Prior to joining Goulston & Storrs PC, she served as managing partner in the DC office of an Am Law 100 firm. She was also an adjunct professor at the American University Washington College of Law, lecturing on both administrative and land use law.
