Ginger Lew is the managing director of Cube Hydro Partners, a $700 million clean energy fund that invests in hydropower operations in North America. From 2009 to 2011, she served as senior counselor to the White House National Economic Council. She provided economic policy advice on a broad range of matters, including innovation, commercialization, small business, capital access and formation, and entrepreneurship policies. Ms. Lew gained regulatory experience as the General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Commerce, for which she was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate. Under the Clinton Administration, she was the Deputy Administrator and Chief Operating Officer of the U.S. Small Business Administration and had oversight responsibility for a $42 billion loan portfolio.
Ms. Lew is the former CEO and partner to two venture capital funds located in the Washington, DC area. She was chair and board member of a European-based investment fund. Ginger also served on the NASDAQ Listing and Hearing Review Council for 10 years. In 2011, she was appointed by Secretary Clinton to serve on the Board of Governors of the East West Center and is a member of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee. She is active in numerous Asian American organizations throughout the United States.
Ms. Lew served on the Meyer Foundation Board from 2008-2014.
